The McClure Studio School of Landscape Painting is a unique on going study of the creation of oil landscape paintings conducted in the artist’s studio. This is a rare opportunity to experience first hand the actual process of a nationally recognized landscape painter.

I have designed this course of study to include every step I take in the creative process, from the initial concept, to the preparation of the painting surface and the actual painting, to the final framing and shipping.

A 3-day plein-air workshop exploring the principles and techniques of painting on location. Students will complete a series of small plein air studies with emphasis on spontaneity and freshness. Portable painting materials required.
